Well, almost.  school has finished for Christmas but I still have my last fair to do.
Went to the church for the school Christmas service.  Tallest munchkin played a cello solo and was also in the nativity so was a total star

I have been really busy this last week trying to make moulds and to cast some new Fairy Doors.  My wooden doors are taking sooooooo long to make that it is hardly worth my while, by the time I have marked out the wood, routed, cut, shaped, rough sanded, smooth sanded and done the final [...]

Well, it has happened, smallest munchkin is now in school full time - boo! but it does now mean I have more free time - yay! but now I have to do all the things I said i couldn’t do before, as I was short of time - boo!

Managed to colour some resin with glass paints, I found some info on ‘tinternet and as I already had glass paints I thought I would try, they have hardened nicely and actually quicker than my last attempt but that could be due to many factors and not just the addition of glass paints.

Here are a couple of things I made with my ice resin expriments; An ice bear zip pull/ phone dangle thing and a pendant!

I have been playing with resin. I don’t have any pigments yet so everything I make looks like ice. I wanted to try the resin before splashing out on pigment, I am also having trouble locating pigments online, resin and its associated products are all very toxic so special carriers are needed, so [...]
