Well seems it is officially Easter. The munchinks have been busy with Easter egg hunts, Easter egg competitions and the Easter bunny even visited the nursery IN PERSON!!! today so there is no escape.

I am not a huge fan of over commercialism of religious festivals (Christmas take big bow) seems like Easter gets bigger and bigger each year. Tesco has a huge display of ‘gifts’ as alternatives to chocolate eggs, I don’t really hold with “instead of an egg children get a present” - Christmas part 2. I am afraid in this house it is an egg or nothing. Mean mummy. I do enjoy the Spring colours that Easter brings, the hope that we will be seeing some sunshine again, bright yellow daffodils and baby animals. Today is the first day of Spring!
Going to the school church service this afternoon then on Saturday I will be in Merchant Square from 11.30am until 6pm. I will have a selection of easter cards on offer (Well a girl has to cash in too doesn’t she?)
