Whilst browsing tinternet I came across sock monkeys! On closer investigation it seems to be a crafting phenomenon, not one wishing to be left out I made my own and here he is - sorry about the rubbish photo but you get the idea. A. (3yrs) has become very attached to him so in his short life he is already well travelled (monkey not A! - although A. does get out and about now and then) I have already had a demand (as is the way of the toddler) for a baby sock monkey so I may have to steal a small persons socks for this in the near future.
