Craft Robo

With my birthday rapidly approaching my mind naturally turns to potential new toys!

I have been on the web researching the Mac compatibility of the Craft Robo (purely from a business point of view you understand, no pointers for potential present buyers in this post). It seems as if the Craft Robo Pro comes with an Adobe Illustrator Plugin to allow it to run with Macs but no mention of whether there is a similar Plugin for the ‘domestic’ Craft Robo.

Is the only option to run it via Virtual PC? Does that even work? Will need more money to spend on extra software. :-(

Vx

Hmm from the information here it does look as if the Pro version can be used with a Mac but not the standard one. These things can change though, I would e-mail the company that makes them if enough Mac users show an interest then they might take notice.

Hey.. I think recently, Microsoft has made Virtual PC available free of cost! So you could probably grab it without taking a hit on the wallet :)

Both robo cutters work with a mac AND adobe illustrator cs2 or cs3..

There is a plugin that you print directly to the cutter with. :)
